The first installment of the movie came out back in 1998 when the character of Jackie Chan was first assigned to work in collaboration with the American FBI police to find the daughter of a Chinese diplomat.

Out of nowhere he discovers that his foster brother has turned into an assassin, his emotional thoughts holds him back to take any action against him(Kenji).


In "Rush Hour," Lee travels to Los Angeles to assist with the investigation and clashes with Carter, who initially sees him as an outsider. However, they eventually overcome their differences and form a comedic and action-packed team.
